I started making this paper dress because I loved the idea of combining two essentials: paper and clothes. I was also inspired to create something thought-provoking. Through making this dress out of paper and mapping out a journey that is foreign to other people, it soon led me to reflect and consider the significance of things being observed - inspecting life's most intricate details, things that so many of us never notice.
Although wearing paper has some obvious practical hazards (getting caught in the rain could be a disaster and standing anywhere near a lit cigarette poses a more serious threat) by the time this dress is finished, I say it will be worth the risk!
