Some blissful thinking

So I know you all probably hate me right now - I haven't posted for months, let alone weeks!

But sometimes when we finish the school (university) year, we just want to sit back and relax all summer...Well, I thought I would...but recently I've been feeling that I have been slowly driving myself a little bit mad.

I have never really EVER had the opportunity to do, well, nothing.

I've been reflecting a lot in this time I have had 'off' and I think that it is important to make a few wee goals this summer. I want to use this time (from now on) to accomplish some of the things that I have been neglecting, or that I have found hard to do during the school/university period.

I have decided to take action by compiling a list of my summer goals so far (typical me, being a devout list-maker and all)

And here they are!

Welcome, the top few thus far:

1) Detox my wardrobe slash my whole room. I'm pretty sure that 85% of my clothes don't fit or I simply don't like them anymore. I think my mantra for this summer has to be: keep my room clean because it makes me less crazy!

2) Compile a summer reading list and complete it by the end of September (I would say August, but let's be realistic here!) I truly miss those moments where I would just sit at home, read a book and muse.

3) Write, write, write. I would like to seriously keep up with my schedule now of blogging at least 5 times a week, if not more. Perhaps I could do a few 'Today I am wearing..' posts, daily lessons/sayings or perhaps start up a food blog? These are just some baby ideas...

4) I would love to do some volunteering/work experience this summer. While I have the extra energy and free time this summer, why not? I'm such a learner-lover! Oh, the things I will discover by doing this!  It is something that can also potentially help with building up my CV too.

5) Work on myself for a while. Get better with nutrition and get into shape through regular exercise at the gym. This will help keep sanity and smiles. I want to be more content with my body. I think this will be just the trick!

6) Keep creative. Design some business cards, make a book of ideas/plans/designs, play with jewellery, experiment playfully, enjoy it!

7) Take a spontaneous trip somewhere, anywhere! This one sounds good to me...

So I guess now is the time to start and make some changes to this summer of mine,

What are your summer goals? I would love to hear them!

Wish me luck...
