A vintage wonderland

My kitty-eyed friend Martha and I went to the ye olde Spitalfields market the other day to explore all the vintage goodness that London has to offer. 

It is a cute little space swimming in an eclectic mix of antiques, books, jewellery and clothes (and it is only a five minute walk from Liverpool Street station, so there is no excuse not to visit!)

Upon arriving, we were soaked in a delicious, musty smell of vintage garments (one of my favourite smells in the world!), we chatted to traders and we even treated ourselves to some sweet goodies.

But I especially loved the vintage house-ware and the ever-lasting rolls of thick thread.

I think it is fair to say that this antique market genuinely has something for everyone (and that is a promise!)
